About 3 weeks ago i rolled my passenger window down but it wouldnt roll back up and then all of a sudden............the whole window fell down. I was so mad so i took my car into a shop that works on windows and they opened up the door panel and they said it was the regulator. So after a week of searching i found a used regulator from a 94 sc400. i purchased it for $118 and i took it back to shop they installed it and it worked i was so happy i rolled around in my car windows down and blasting my aftermarket sound system..........but about 2 days later............same problem happened i rolled my windows down and it wouldnt roll back up. I took it back to the shop once again and they didnt bother opening the panel he just told me the regulator i got wasn't fuctionaing correctly. Now i dont know what to do because ive already spent $220 on trying to repair this problem and i dont wanna spend another penny since i just got my 2 front o2 sensors replaced can somebody shine some light on my situation.
Your bad for buying a used regulator. I bought new ones for around $240 for both sides and they're perfect. Sucks that you're out the money for the used one, but I would advise you to just get new ones and call it good. And don't pay someone else to do it, either - I'd never been inside an SC door before and I did both sides of mine in an hour.
