Those look great on dwp

I like krazematics car but I don't want anymore black on my car, Im trying to use chrome and silver to break up all the red/black.
If I didn't already have a red and black color scheme, I would be doing all red or black/red tails, but instead Im liking those Clear/Red 94 ones

Nice, im liking all the lights here.

QwkSc...i got a garnet red SC and im wanting to get 97+ tails and do some modifications.

***As for the people who are blacking out your lights like that....if u have any engine mods and you move to California with your car...expect to be pulled over within your first 24 hours of arrival because cops love pulling people over for that and especially saying..."Oh, nice car...looks a little lowered....nice exhaust....hey buddy pop ur hood for me....WOW A TURBO?!??"

The next time u drive that car will be to the State Refs who make u take off everything!

I'm not a fan of the 97's, there is just too much going on... they are too busy if you know what I mean. But most people like em, whatever floats your boat I guess.

I needa repaint my car first...and i cant decide if i wanna keep the garnet color or go black or something.

Although its not THAT rare of a color, IMO from what ive seen..(confirm this anyone?), I have an edge to repaint and stay garnet cus its just a nice clean color.

Although i love the IS-F red color...the Matador Red one...gosh that thing is sexy =P

If I move to Cali for work but keep AR tags on my car, do you think i'd have to worry about that? I'd just be using the car as a weekend toy, not DD

It kinda depends where in Cali your talking about....

and i don't think it matters what tags you have..cops are ruthless and are vampires for money....

now that the economy is low its just another reason for an officer to flash his lights and hand out more tickets!

shiz do you wanna talk about handing out tickets! Myself and a bit over 300 others got blocked in by police at a local spot. They gave everyone including passengers 151.00 tickets and 3pts on their licenses for spectating a street race. I was there for over 4hrs waiting in line to get my stupid ticket.
My bad this is a taillight thread.
I don't like the 97+ tails because of the gold outlines they have.

The only improvement to the 97s is redding out the yellow corner section.
Personally, I think the 92-94 tails are the least busy of the three.

So you are basically saying that 92-94's look like toyota corollas?

Nice to hear from another SC member

I agree with 1UZ-SC. I would rather have 92-94 or 95-96 over 97+ after looking at them for a long time. I hate chrome, and having it surround the tail light.. not for me.

I honestly loved the look of DIY clear/red 92-94 tails over everything else ( I made a pair for myself).. and I thought I would even be swapping it out to those if I ever got a 97+ SC. But the 97+ tails grew on me pretty quickly and now their my fav . I didn't like the chrome either but after a while it all looks like it flows really well.
