Default Where to buy aftermarket 02 sensor for 92 SC4

I have now diagnosed that my oxygen sensor is bad. I see from some posts that there are aftermarket sensors available (at least last year they were). I have tried everywhere, Partsamerica, NAPA, PepBoys, and no one can find the aftermarket sensors. I am trying to avoid spending the money at the dealer -- any one know where they can be had? Thanks.

O2 Sensors. com is supposed to have a pretty large selection as well.

hey BriMcc, I noticed that global4autoparts.com has NTK(NGK) O2 sensor (24182), do you know if this universal standard O2 sensor will work on our sc's? it has 4 wires.

Which one did you order from them?

Thanks alot.

Yes they work. I used the universal one for both main and subs without any problems. The nice thing is the price. I think I paid $117 each Canadian (that's almost free for our American friends)!

Hey,

I need a rear (right-passeger side) O2 sensor. The link to the Canadian website and the search for Lexus LS O2 did not show any price.

BriMcc, thanks for input, I got mine but wasn't sure if it'll work..I'll replace when I have time. I dont know why but "check engine" light is gone

healerhand, I tried to contact them via email but none of their email seems working, better call them up.

I looked for passenger side (right?) front o2 sensor, but couldn't locate where it is. Is it behind the tire? I have the rapair manual diagram but it doesn't clearly tell where it is. Anybody has pics of the location? THANKS

Take off the passenger wheel. It is located right behind it. You will need to take it off to loosen/tighten it. Have fun, that is the hardest one to take off and tighten due, to lack of space. You can rent a o2 sensor tool to take it off also at Kragen or Autozone. It may help you in the aggravation of taking it off.

Only place from above options that I could find anything.

Has anyone tried these? OEM or Universal?

if you decided to get the Universal one, I have some info for the wiring (should be 4 wires).
I spent around $130 and got lexus o2 sensor. I'm not sure if the universal is the same as lexus one though..
If you want, i have some pictures when I replaced my front o2 sensor. let me know.
