I have a 95 SC, the passenger side regulator is broke so I ordered one off ebay that's new and it was "LEXUS SC SC300 SC400 92 TO 93 RH FRONT WINDOW REGULATOR" and didn't notice the year. So i tried to install it and when it is lowered all the way down and it's still 1" higher than the drivers side.

I see some other regulators sold from 92-00 and is this a typo? I need a regulator that will have the windows rolled down below the window trim.

Anyone ever run into this problem or know which one I need? thanks.

 

i have a 92 sc400, and i picked up a 95 driver side regulator, and the bolt pattern was different. the top 2 bolts did not line up with the holes. after modifying it a bit, i made it fit, but the window would not roll up completely. it was down about a 1/2 inch. still sealed, but not all the way into the groove.

i believe you have the opposite situation i did.

 

Mine is brand new, if you want to swap let me know as long as yours is still relatively good
