Alright I went to the stealer today and they wanted 112.00$ a piece for the rear mounts, can you say rip, anyway gonna order the mounts through carson toyota but i wanted to verify that im ordering the right parts, the parts in question are #4 and #5 http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0 , it just says mount mount left? and part # search pulled up nothing, thanx again in advance

I'm curious, what are the symptoms of these mounts when they go bad?

 

Not really sure of what symptoms would be seen if they were bad, i would assume some amount of shaking/vibration.

I assume the OP is replacing these so he can install a rear supra TT sway bar, these mounts have a sway bar mount on them.

 

When I was doing some work under the SC the other day I was looking at the mounts and they seem to be in terrible shape as does the Suspension crossmember Upper insulator, it has visible cracks...............hell all the rubber pieces are like than now lol.

So I'm curious if I should change these and what kind of difference should I expect, thats what I was curious
