Parking light (city light)

Parking light (city light)
Is parking light on SC400 equivalent to the commonly used term city light? I'm trying to replace the stock bulb with a new and whither one. The manual says I should use a bulb with a wattage of 5W. However, the ones I see on the web are mostly for 8W application.
Link at optauto.com
Can anyone tell me whether any of these are going to work. And which one should I use? Looking at the first two of the list, one has a big bulb and the other has a small bulb. Which one fits on SCs?

Sylvannia's website has a bulb sizer: http://www.sylvania.com/bin/carApp/c...SC400&x=23&y=6
I wouldn't overload the wattage by more than 70%.

turn you light switch one click not two
and the parking/city lights will be on
they look really awsome in hyperwhite
i did it in mine..... i always sit in parking lots with mine on
just cause it looks really cool
on the drivers side you might have trouble with the battery
but its a really small plug... .... you really have to feel around for it
and play with it without actually seeing it

one click turn means it's the lights that barely does ANYTHING
it's so friggin dim!
yah, i needa get this one replaced alright. what a waste of a light!
trudremz16. where did u buy ur hyperwhite? plz help!
also, my friend's trying to hook me up with a HID kit + install for only like $300-400?
if i get that, would it solve my dim parking light issue? or is HID only for the low beams? as you all can tell, i'm clueless

I attached a pic of the rear of the light. You can see where two wires go into a plug that looks like 2 pencils on top of each other. This is your city/parking lights.
HID will only effect your low lights... drastically
You can also buy LED replacements for the city light bulb, they are supposed to be a huge improvement over regular 194 bulbs but I have yet to test a set out (can't find any retailers that carry white LED bulbs)

Parking lights are way too dim, they don't even accent the headlight at night because the glare from the low beams drown them out. I'm considering an LED bulb conversion just because I haven't found a regular incandescent bulb that is remotely bright enough. I went to Kragen and bought the 194 and 194LL bulbs and they are just as dim as the 168 bulbs designed to go in. Maybe I should just remove that plastic tubular capsule in the parking light so I can use a 10 watt bulb. Legends6spd take note of the brand of ballast and bulb before buying the HID kit. Some Korean HIDs out there aren't worth even $300 and some German HIDs can be well worth $300.

I bought a 194 LED light made by APC that claimed to be bright. Well, I stuck one in and had a normal amber 194 bulb in the other. The APC one turned out to be A LOT dimmer than my normal 194 bulb. Both were amber in color (I like ambers )
Anyhow, I returned the APC LED bulb after that.
anyone know if these are bright? They're from www.autodynamic.com I've also seen these at Autofreaks.
