Go with the 95 coupe or you can't go wrong with the IS300.

 

Only thing is modding the IS300 is like crack rock. Once you do it there is no stopping. I'm on my second IS300 and remembering how broke I was when I had my first one.

......which sells new @ Carson for $2200.00 + $600 paint = $2,800.00 for a friggin body kit!!! Thank god I got a discount.

I remember when I put my 97+ kit on my SC and paid $1000 thinking "boy that wasn't exactly cheap, was it?" Now I'm begging for the days of $1000 body kits. Things that sell used for $50 for the SC the same type of part is $100 on the IS300. Good thing is they are reliable so it won't cost you money unless you cost yourself.

 

I love those IS's to death, its like having a suped up corolla on steroids. Thats a hard decision to make, I love my SC, but I also love my BMW as well. Maybe you could consider a M3... Their quick, easy to build, and have great resale value. Just a thought. I would never consider a Volvo.

 

Come up to the DFW area there are SC going for good prices!

all the used sc's i have seen with an exception of 1 i saw from a lex dealer have been complete trash. i don't know if i want a car that old as my daily driver anymore and bmw's are fun and nice cars but they are horrid for maintenance. you have to be **** about everything... I plan on getting another sc but just not now.. don't have the garage to do the work on one myself or the extra cash to get my mechanic to do it....

volvos made after 97-98 suck because they were made by ford.

before then, it was a good car.

if you even think about a volvo, it should be an 850R.

but get an SC or an IS, you won't be disappointed.
