Default Ride Height

I just installed my Tein Basic coilovers and I'm trying to figure out what the best ride height will be. I've searched and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.

I'm running on 19's and I believe +38 offset on a SC300. Fenders are not rolled.

I don't really intend on slamming it to the ground because I still need to get out of my driveway. I do however want it to look and handle nicely. I don't want to run a negative camber. I want to be able to get it aligned back to stock specs.

My question is: What ride height will be the best for what I'm trying to achieve?

I forgot to measure the car before I installed the coilovers so replies like "drop it 1.5" won't help me very much. Measurements from the ground to the top of the fender would be great.

Hmmm...I've been looking at Tein Basics for a bit now and I'm also sitting on 19s. I don't want any rubbing of course and I also don't want to roll fenders, so I guess I'm waiting on the replies just like you man, NC huh? Where in NC are you?

Raleigh/Durham Area. There are a few SC's rolling around here. You have many around your way?

the best ride height for me prolly wouldnt work for u. You're going to have to think on your own and use trial and error to find the height that YOU are comfy with.

Ive read somwhere, in this forum I think it was, that 360 CWF was the perfect ride height for handling. I'm not entirely positive what it stood for but apparently it was the pertfect ride height lol. Maybe it was 360mm between center of wheel and fender. If anybody remembers that thread please help

EDIT: It was CWG- Center to Wheel guard and the post can be found HERE: http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/me...tml?1238572600 Credits go to "Cazman"

LoL!! didnt read the link but will say that its wrong. Wayyy too many factors go into a suspension besides 'ride height'.

whats next? the only perfect color for an SC?

Maaaan, not one. There WAS a guy with a white SC4 with some HKS cannons on the back but that was as far as it went, he sold it for a S2K...which has 800whp now...it's disgusting.

There are 4 SCs here in town and they are all driven by women save 1, which is all black and sitting on chrome 22s...we chunk duece to each other whenever we see each other but thats about it.

Sooooo...back to the thread...anyone run 19s and not have to roll their fenders while dropping it? Hmmmm?
