hey guys i have a quick question, im in orlando and my friends sc300 just stopped working, prior to it not working, the car was very sluggish, no power, took a very long time to get to 45 miles an hour, revving the engine was a sad site. now the car wont start ( the day he was going to get the diagnostic test, what irony.). The engine will crank but just wont start, battery is fine, new wires and spark plugs. i think it may be the ignition coil. i was wondering what you guys thought.

possibly, what year and how many miles does it have? ignition coils are a common problem for sc4s

Can you hear the fuel pump running. I had an issue similiar to this and it ended up being the ECU. One way to check is listen of r the fuel pump. If you dont hear it try a jumper in the diagnostics port in the engine bay. There is a FP and B+ pins. if you jumper them then try starting it. If it starts then you know it is the ECu or Fuel pump ECU.

Just a thought and my 2 cents.
