Default Timing belt kit for 95 sc300?

I have a 1995 sc300 with about 140k. I just got the car and it needs a tune up real bad. I just changed the spark plugs, wires, distributor, and thermostat. what else would i need to change. Where can i get a good timing belt kit and not that ebay stuff. I was thinking of just buying thing separately like a Gates t215rb timing belt and Timing Belt Tensioner Bearing but after that im lost as to what to get. Any suggestions?? Also i have searched and searched on this forum with no success.

Dont do yourself the backwards work of getting aftermarket timing parts...go oem and do it right the first time.

Default Lots of options rockauto or parts geek

Because most of these parts are made by other vendors it’s easy to get the oem makers used by Toyota/Lexus or high quality alternatives from rockauto.com or partsgeek.com to name 2 I use most often. Their “kit” versions for water pump and or timing beltbinclude most of what you need in one list (usually mix of different brands) or get whatever version you want of each part separately. I just replaced my 93 sc300 serpentine belt and water pump and timing belt and related wear and tear parts using both these places. Did fan clutch too and radiator and hoses too but I’d been having overheating issues from every cause possible.

Definitely get a water pump that includes the housing with the pump as pump only likely won’t fit to your original water pump housing. A member warned about this 15 years ago in a post and I had to learn hard way a month ago.

If you get new housing you should replace 3 o rings available from Toyota that fit on water bypass elbow behind water pump housing. I think parts geek includes the Toyota part numbers with the water pumps they sell but u gotta buy em from Toyota or Lexus yourself. Can replace camshaft seals too but I didn’t.
