Loud Moaning Noise

My 1998 SC400 makes a loud moaning noise when the A/C is turned on after the car sits for about 5 days. The noise last about 5-10 seconds. This only happen on start-up after the a/c is turned on. The dealer was unale to find anything wrong. Does anyone else have this problem? If so please help me! I am thinking maybe the A/C is low,but it still gets cold or maybe a belt is slipping.I give up!! HELP!!!

try checking your power steering fluid, this might not be it but just give it a try.. when i had a leak in my PS system it would moan when the fluid gets low...

That moan is your AC compressor, and it probably has a bearing that is getting shotty. Have an ounce or two of R12 oil added to your system, you might just be low.
