17x9.5" on the front axle?
Hello SC pilots,
I'm coming into possession of an extra set of Turbo Supra wheels and am thinking about putting 17x9.5" wheels, probably wearing 245/45's, on all four corners of the car. Will I have anything rubbing the wrong way on the front? I'd like to do this simply to have the same size wheels and tires everywhere. Thanks.

I have 17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 rear, if I lower my car too much, the front will rub whenever I make a right turn, I get this nasty sound. I suspect that 17x9.5 front will have nastier result than mine when lowered.

The Supra TT wheel sets are 17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 rear----A perfect fitment.
9.5" fronts with the Supra offset won't work as far as I know.
8.5" fronts with the Supra offset work perfectly.
If you have 8.5" fronts and they rub, you've got the wrong offset or tire size, or you've lowered the car too much to care about anything other than appearances.
You don't want 17x9.5s all around, anyways.
245s are a bit too narrow for 9.5" wheel
9.5" fronts won't fit very well, if all.
Car won't track well with 9.5" fronts
Visually 9.5" fronts look too big compared to rears of equal size.
The SC300 begs for a staggered front setup. 18x9 F and 18x10 R is the best looking combo to me, but you've got to watch the offset for them to fit.
The factory Supra TT fitment on the SC300 looks great and works even better, the offset will preserve straight line stability and steering response --IMO.
I have a wheel guide on my site that someone on the Supra board made. This guide also applies to the SC300, but may not be exact.
