I'm not sure of the length but I know you can cut those LED strips down to what you know.I know because I looked into using that myself but didnt want to deal with adjustments in evening out the light since LEDs are like spot lights. The CCFL gives an even light all around. However, I did make this image to show the Halo seller what I needed and maybe it can help you. You should be able to figure out what you need with a little Algebra.

LoL that was gonna be my question cuz the needles do look perfect?????? 2.5 your always coming up with kool things to do to your whip you gotta help me with my car pc so hit me up, also when you put the cluster back together which light bulbs did you put back and which one didn't go back in to the cluster and how do you power up the halo can you do a quick DIY???

The Halo kit comes with its own converter as you can see in the pictures, Just connect to a ground and Ignition 12+ and you're set. I would be glad to help you with your Car PC.

The Needles are the Stock SMDs, I would never change those out !
