Default Headlight Disaster

So i washed my car today.
Then it happened....
F-in condensation in my driverside headlight.
What should i do & how should i do it?

heres the light

&heres a chip, with a tiny hole.
idk if you can see it. its to the left. right by the opening where the turn signal goes.

&heres a spot on the top of the light, where it looks like the sealant wore out.
& maybe i sprayed water in there. ?

first you do a search about headlights and how to open it + clean it + seal it.

bleh nice try. Unseal, clean, reseal for a perfect fit. Make sure there's a filter there. If not, then you can use either a cotton ball or try UZZ30-SC4's trick with the mini air filters

Buy a used one. I removed and re-sealed my right one twice, but it would still fog up. I found a used one in good shape at the scrap yard that hasn't fogged up for the 8 months I've had it. Well worth $90 to me.

Or you could reseal and make some breathers, like in UZZ30-SC4's thread.

make sure it is sealed tight and that the breather apparatus works...I've had to reseal mine a billion times only to find out the breather tube is all clogged up...now it's fine and dandy

I'm happy with my black housing ones through eBay.

But...this topic has been discussed over9000 times before. OLT did a good write up that you can look at.

with that much water inside I think water is seeping in through the hairline cracks

Or you can just park it in the hot sun every time you wash the car, but it would be a hassle. Though when the weather is wet and cold in the winter this method would obviously not work.

I've had condensation in my driver's side headlight since October and it has dried up a lot now. I'm too lazy/scared to open/clean/reseal the headlight unit.
