s-afc setup on sc4
Either way, you're still going to have to take it to a dyno. SOmeone else can give your their program, but every car is different, every climate is different, so their program might not work for you, but it will be a good starting point.
I believe MadMax had a S-AFC on his SC4 before he went with the WeaponR ECU. I read one of his earlier posts and he saw good gains from it.
I will be installing a S-AFC once my damn headers come in(
) and I finish the HFI... hopefully in a month. When I get all that in i'll also post a 'how to install the S-AFC' ... complete with pictures!
I could post my S-AFC numbers when I get it done at the dyno, but it won't do much good for most of you considering how I'm 6000 feet up. Last time I went to the Dyno they charged me 50$ for what ended up being 6 runs.

To be honest I didn't really know what I was talking about.. when I put that thing on it seemed to improve power, but when your car is upgraded proper you know it. I don't think it's true that it does only one side of the engine, my ECU and the SAFC both modify the signal from the MAF which is one line. However, without changing the ignition timing power gains won't be very impressive. I suppose you could do both SAFC and ITC, though I don't know how well that's going to work given that the ITC they make is old as the hills.
