Default Question about Lower control arms / alignment

Could someone doing a bad alignment cause the lower control arm to break?

by break i mean the ball break off, and cause car to sit on the wheel in the fender?

yea ball as in ball joint, that connects to the steering Knuckle. Ad as far as miles unsure, bought the car used, with 130k or so has like 160k now, but like i said have had work done on the brake lines, and just had 2 new front tires put on, and a 4 wheel alignment. Obviously i am kinda pissed that when they did the alignment they didn't notice or say something if it was getting bad, but still want to know if it was okay before if they did a bad alignment, would that cause it to break

At 160k or even 130k the front lca bushings and the balljoints would probably be bad by then.
