I think someone has used the ebay lenses on OEM housing before. they kept the small housing around the turn signal and it looked pretty good. Can't remember who it was but they did say they had to trim the lense to get it to fit.

I remember reading that thread as well, i will bend and cut until those damn things fit, once they are on i will polish and clearcoat the outside of the lense to prevent oxidization. (mine have some)

I will make it work, just more customizing to come is all.

Well we will find out this weekend, i will be tearing apart headlights and swapping lenses, installing HID's and removing foglights for a retrofit, all in a single day.

Ok guys so here the pics continue, with a bit of a TWIST

SOOOOO i was thinking how to let the headlights breath....while still keeping trash and moisture out....and i had an epiphany from back when i used to build and race Nitro RC cars......Crankcase Vent Filters!!!!!!

Oh yeah, and here is some, semi-done pics, lol:

Before you ask, no this is not the final location of that filter, i will use a section of tubing to bring the filter closer to the engine fan area to allow for circulation. Also the other two vent tubes will be capped. I know they are a LITTLE large, but its the smallest i could find without having to pay 20 bucks a peice for smaller K&N ones (what i had on my JATO 3.3).

I'm just gonna use the factory projectors, if i hadnt ruined the lenses i would have probably gone TSX, but i just want this project done. Besides i think the factory projectors get a bad rep.

Im gonna make up for it by HID'ing my fogs 8000k along with the heads.

I'm actually kind of suprised that no one bashed my idea about the breather for the headlights, lol. Either that means its too stupid to comment on, or no one noticed??

I know it will work, thats all the encouragement i need
