Default 2jz usdm cost

I find a 2jz-gtte usdm, I been looking for it for a super long time. He willing to sell everything complete engine without tranny for 3500. Is it worth it? It has 90k on it.

Since you live out of California, why you want a USDM 2JZGTE??? For that price you can pretty much convert a JDM to USDM spec and the JDM have low mileage too.

some people don't want to hassle with converting everything, (if you don't mind, i'd agree, go with the jdm) also some people in cali have high hopes of passing smog with a usdm motor, they think thats the ticket, but it's still gonna be more trouble then it's worth to smog. Sounds like a good price for a usdm, most of the time i've seen em there around 4 grand and up. But i'd wait for a totalled supra if thats your route, i saw one on craigslist about 4 months back, 8 grand took the whole thing, 2jzgte, 6speed, front and rear subframes, brakes, lsd, axles, everything for 8k, plus you could sell all the interior and crap to pay some of it off. Thats the gold mine. B

That sounds about right price, does that include harness? I would go with a JDM motor since harness has be redone anyway plus you won't have to deal with MAF, add USDM cams and injectors and turbos if you like and you're good. I lucked out and got my USDM setup for a good price.

The OP lives in VA, I'm not sure who you're reffering to.
