I'm going to go against the grain here and say that you should buy the SC400, no question.

...and then provide me with the hookup on how I can get ahold of this 911 you speak of.

Hmm while you will get laid more in the 911...I would suggest that you really think about this you can't take that 911 to any shop to get it worked on...I just left the military and a retired guy I worked with has his 89, 911. He spends alot of time rebuilding that engine and has spent over 15K on special item tools for this car alone. Now After about 10-15K miles some of those engines need to be rebuilt or just put back in spec, this is what I know of the model this guy has. If you bring it to the dealer or an authorized Porsche shop your coming out the pocket at least 6-12K depending on where in the US you are located. If you don't have a good 10-15K buffer just for this car I would suggest you leave it alone, and lets not even get into getting upgrade parts for it you think Lexus cost an arm and a leg, consider the Porsche.

Porsche definitely. It'll hold value, and is just well, a twin turbo Porsche! SC has terrible resale, and when modded you will have a very hard time selling it- later. UNLESS YOU ARE A HARDCORE SC FANATIC.
Something about the SC that you like over the Porsche?

i own an SC...

i've driven a 911...

would switch those 2 in a HEART BEAT.
however the maintenance points are very thorough, why would this porsche be so cheap unless theres a few catches here and there...either way your lucky to be having to decide this haha

Has anyone realized how old this thread was? haha. I would definitely switch in a heartbeat but now for the results. What did the OP actually get?
