I dont know if it has been posted but I cant seem to find it in the fourms, Is there a "step by step" to taking off my bumper and putting on a new one? is it fairly simple? Im trying to put a 97 bumper on my 92' is there anything I should know or is it a simple swap?........Edit: BTW I meant Rear Bumper
take off headlights (1 bolt on top, 2 bolts behind fender, 10mm)
take off plastic weatherstripping from the front, where the bumper meets the hood, remove bolts.
look underneath the openings of the bumper, there should be clips everywhere. remove these clips, and the clips under the headlight after you take them out.
Take off the undercarriage plastic panels and youre done.
Any help? I got rear ended and need to replace the rear bumper its why I am asking.......Im sure its not hard but I dont know where to start in taking it off
You need to pop the trunk and you’ll see three screws that are placed between the taillights, remove those along with the taillights. There should be a few screws that you can see from the top side and from what I know the rest of the bolts and screws are from the sides and bottom of the bumper.
just a question, if you don’t know how to even remove the rear bumper how are you going to repair or even be able to assess how much damage you sustained in your accident?
oh and btw here are just a few of the posts that come up if you searched "rear bumper removal"
