I would post pictures of the car, but it ain't a SC. it ain't even a lexus.
It doesn't matter if it isn't a Lexus...nice cars are always appreciated!!

So putting high quality spacers is ok? What about at high speeds? Drifting? I have some 3mm spacers that I would need if I upgraded to Supra TT brakes, but I'm not so sure about using them for my type of driving. I should probably get different rims then huh? These 18's are clearing it like 18's should.

Default brembo

Hey, had the same problem when I bought mine a years ago...Everybody told me to go for the front supra brakes...but I needed rear brakes...And a the time my budget was tight so I figured with my mecanic who's a friend of mine that the best would be to put slight upgrade to the rear and in spring (got my car in fall) put the supra brake in front and if necessary upgrade again in the rear. What I did in the end was to put brembo disc and pads (always change both if youre really serious about braking power) in the rear and eventually cross-drilled brembo in the front. We upgraded the quality and performance of the braking system in a very economic way and the car brakes really nice. I always tough early sc don't quite have good brakes for they're weight. To be perfectly honnest, my car doesn't brake like a supra or a porsche (but then again it's not what I wanted out of the car). It's about the same then 300 that you have, wich I test drove recently. My sc now has the same braking power but more endurance I would say (a little). Anyway, depends what you want your car to feel like and what's your budget. That's my 2 cents.

I personally like Brembos, but I prefer like the slotted AND drilled rotors (not the particular ones that see_fu has). I was commenting on awj's rotors b/c of the cadmium plating.

I didn't have much of a choice. The only way to get drilled and slotted from brembo is to also get the f50 style caliper. that things just to big and expensive, not to mention they dont offer it for my car.

moshlub, from looking at the box, i think the rotors are "centric" (never actually heard of them) however they look just like the rotors that i recently picked up from steve ganz and they are race tech rotors. hope that helps.......

There is this button called PM - that is for private messaging. Even though the Doctor managed to notice, I don't think it is because he has a PhD.

It's actually working out great! These are AWESOME brakes...however, I am considering switching them out for the Wilwood 6-piston setup...
