sc300's come in periwinkle?
Hey guys,
I have been in the market for an sc300 for quite sometime now. Well i finally seen on i was interested in price wise. I open the link to see it and it looks to be a purple blue color. It's a 5spd and the price is right. Did 95' Sc300 come in a purple blue color? The guy states it as lite blue, but i looks mad ghey to me, could be the camera though. Any input or pics of the color would be great i searched and could not find one that was this color.

Theres a pre-97 baby blue sc thats in my appts parking lot, that im going to bet is the same color. I feel like it used to be a bit more impressive but is very faded now. Ill try and get a picture when i go home....its like baby silver blue...truly is just ugly...but it looked good with a black interior

I would also agree it sounds like Platinum Silver. Um why dont you look on the build plaque and find the paint code and look it up? That should answer all ur questions as to the name.

Per the previous link I posted ( http://www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/1995/1995SCspecs.pdf ), the "periwinkle / purple blue" color is likely Lexus color "Midnight Indigo Pearl 8J5".

Periwinkle leads me to believe its RSP... but Im pretty sure they didnt use that color until 97. If its a dark purple its probably Midnight Indigo Pearl, but I dont remember if they still used that color in 95 and Im too lazy to check.

Returning back to the topic, this is the hue of blue I'm referring to, which is Platinum.
