Default HELP!!!! hub question

ok so i was taking off my rotors to get them fixed and my passenger side was really hard to get off. after an hour of PB blaster and a mallet i finally broke it loose. now when i spin the hub really fast with my hands i hear little clanks and noises from the hub. i'm thinking i messed up the bearing.

it isn't loose or anything, just makes little noises, but i had a loose hub on my 240 and it sucked! so i decided i might as well replace it while the rotor's off.
i popped the cap off the backside of the hub and noticed a huge golden nut screwed onto a silver bold with a little grove in it. and the nut was pressed on the edge to fit into the grove to where it doesnt come loose. it looks pretty hard to get loose.

my question is...

what is the best way to fix this? should i buy a replacement bearing? would i need any special tools to install it? do i even need to replace it? or should i disconnect the whole assembly from the control arms and replace the whole part from a junkyard? (i know where theres a wrecked sc around here)

you may have ruined the bearing or bent the hub also, there should be a small screw hole on the oem rotor that you can screw a bolt into that will push a rusted rotor off the hub. i would recommend not striking a hub with much force. the bearing will need to be pressed out and pressed in a shop press. you should be able to remove the steering knuckle and bring it to a shop and have them press out and press in the new equipment. i believe a bearing was no more than 100 bucks maybe around 60 ish, the hub may be more than 100. i replaced a bearing in my 96 sc after a bad encounter with a curb. i got a replacement at napa

almost forgot, there is a cap on the back side of the knuckle assembly, inside is the abs sensor wheel, you might want to replace it also it keeps debris out of the sensor area/back of the bearing.
