man, my first car when I was 16 was a beat up 1989 toyota tercel 2dr. I even went to prom in that thing... haha.

 

Same here. I was ready to pick up an Infiniti I30 the next afternoon when my uncle told me during dinner that I could have his SC instead. W00t!

 

Wow, Replace "SC400" with "SC300" and that is my EXACT same story.

I even parked it faaaar away from everyone else at school and some dumb chicks were still able to ram it... Oh, well insurance ftw.



When I bought my SC, my dad was there to negotiate (I paid) and the lady even asked him "don't you think this is a little too much car for him? It does 60-100 in nothing flat". LOL The temptation will always be there but you must resist! Just try and take comfort in knowing that your car is nicer and probably faster than 90% of kids your age.

Anyways... keep it clean man and make sure you have all maintenance caught up before you start modding.

 

Wow nice car for a 16 yr old. Clean ride man, keep it safe and drive slow in the rain! Kids today are so lucky they get really nice cars as their first car... Wish i got something nice at 16.

when i was 16 i had a lexus ls400 that was sitting on 20's and a bunch of high school kids thought i was dealing drugs or something.. haha..

 

Great car to start with! My first car was a Nissan 240sx coupe. Had a rare JDM front aero bumper on it that cost more than the car lol!

 

nice way to start, im a Dallas person myself its great to see a lot of Dallas ppl with SC's, ive been driving since your age too and the only accident i ever had was a scratch on a lady's car that rubbed right off, Im 23 now btw... Early next month I will be returning home (Dallas) for good I guess I'll start a thread soon to meet the dfw CL guys.
