Hey, I was thinking about getting a Soarer badge for my husbands 1993 SC300 this Christmas, and I was wondering what kind to get. I was looking at them all on ebay and I think the chrome one with the gold wings would look best, but I dont know if its tacky to have the wrong color griffin on your car.

This is a stupid question but, which color griffin do I buy?

I would ask him this question myself but I would still like it to be a suprise..

So I guess that means I buy the little red griffin? What about rear badges? Which ones would be appropriate?

 

The color griffin does not correspond to an engine. Get either.
Toyota badge and "Soarer" badge go on rear.

There are pictures on of both chrome and red on the link. See which one you like more.
The red griffin is the more common one put on SC and would be easiest as well because it the three prongs same as the lexus emblem.

Chrome "Soarer" emblem on the back replaces the "SC300" but remember to make sure which one you get because the 2001 version of the SC (2nd gen soarer)'s emblem is diff size.
