I wonder if the true story is that the dealership was accepting delivery of the GS and it rolled off of the car rack on top of the SC's. There is NO WAY you can jump a curb and soar like that.
Can anyone tell if the GS year would match my delivery theory??

Rolling off a truck would not give the 2002 GS430 enough forward momentum to drag five or six parked cars from their spots. You can see that the white SC in the picture has been moved sideways about 6 feet. It takes a lot of force to push that and all the cars next to it that much distance. There's also the matter of that 900 pound piece of siderail that landed 100 feet away from the point of impact, bounced off an ES300, and landed another 20 feet further. That is a LOT of force. Plus there were too many witnesses to fabricate a theory like that and pull it off. The GS430 had an owner too. If it were a new car delivered, you'd have to create fraudulent papers that made him an owner long enough for that needed service run. Then there's always accounting for the short inventory on the delivery truck. There would be no reason that I could see for the largest Lexus dealership in the US to lie like that because either way, they are covered by insurance.
