i dont think the city is going to pay for it in my case. but Im waiting for the adjuster to call me and see whats up. I just hope it turns out well. But even if it doesnt its not going to be bad worst case is its 100 to get it fixed. So...I can do that.

Roll your fenders. Then just go back and bump the other side... No need for coilovers

200 bucks to replace one strut? go to autozone or equivalent car part stores and rent a spring compressor. do the job yourself in your driveway in about an hour.

I went to the police station and they gave me a case number so insurance will cover it, but I dont have full coverage, only liability. So idk whats going to happen. all I want to do is
Now you have a legitimate excuse to get adjustable coilovers.

Lesson learned: Next time get full coverage insuarnce.

I wouldnt have filed the claim even if I had it. My insurace would go up bc it was "my fault" so, I think I saved money in the end.

sucks that happened but sometimes you just have to call it a L and pay for the damages out of your pocket.

My friend ran over a pot hole a few months back and bent a Volk GT-P. he filed a claim with the city. In CA, these are low priority so I'll be surprised to see if they reimburse him w/in a year. he ended up paying for the repair himself.

$100 is not too bad, but still, I think that the city should pay for **** like that. The roads here in Lubbock are BAD and a couple of my friends got new rims from the city because of all these potholes that just come out of no where. But thats cool the way you handled that cop lol, I would have done the same thing; just like a store...."eh I'm done with your low ranking ***, give me your manager" haha I bet that cop was pissed after you said that (but hey, what can he do lol). Good luck man, and glad your alright.

Cheers,
