Have you considered sanding your down, and retinting them very lightly with film? What lights are underneath there?

Honestly black tails with black car just looks evil, but way too dark for anything even here in md you'd get pulled over for something that dark. Sorry for you hassles man I hear that the CA cops are even more hard a** then the cops in md.

 

I was under the impression it was legal to forego the front license plate in Cali? When I was out there on vacation, only about half the cars had them on.

sorry man, im not ignoring them i swear work's still killing me, and the car's been in the shop getting the bumper fixed. I'll let everyone know when I have new tails and when these are for sale.

the first time, the cop was cool as hell. i got out of the car to talk to him, and we were just talking. he didnt ticket me, but yeah, i took a pic.


this last time was in the rearview mirror. im trying to be stealthy about it, because...lets face it, it's just funny now :P

 

damn bro that's unfortunate. I roll around with 5% all around and no front plate too and haven't gotten pulled yet *knock on wood*. But I'm super cautious about cops, always ready to roll the windows down. As for the front plate I hear that if you "don't" have the brackets/mounts/holes for them they just let you off, and having a black car its much easier to pull off. Good luck with the new tails.
