Front frame rail replacement suggestions
I'm currently in the proccess of fixing the front end on my wrecked sc300. The driver side frame rail is completely smashed and needs to be cut out/replaced with a new frame rail. Then the frame needs to be checked and possibly straitened.
I've been looking around on Carson Toyota's parts web site and cant seam to find any kind of replacement components for the front frame rail. Any idea on how i could get ahold of one or any recommendations on what to do would be greeatly appreciated
Thanks,
Andrew
has anyone else out there had to replace or straighten the front frame rail on their sc?

There are a couple of vendors on here who deal with used parts, check the classified section (Aliga R&J Salvage or something like that). I would deal with them over the dealer for this type of part. I thought the car was a unibody and didnt have frame rails (well way I define them anyway) unless your referring to the K-frame.
Good Luck!

Not on an SC, but had to do this to an MKIV Supra. What was done was that, from the dealer, they sell a piece that is the frame rail and it goes all the way back to the firewall and includes the wheel well sheet metal portion. So essentially, it was the rail and everything on the wheel side all in one piece. We had to lift the motor to cut out the old piece, and then weld the new piece in. Then the frame was inspected.
