Awesome DIY... Just please remember not to delete the pictures from your photobucket account. A lot of cool DIY threads has lost their picture attachments

I'm gonna feel like a moron for saying this, but can you list exactly what tools(and what sizes) were used in the installation? I'm just waiting for some Tein's to arrive, and knowing exactly what to have out when they arrive would be great.

nice detailed write up. I could of used this when I installed my coilovers 3 months ago.

But as other said. There are alot of steps you didnt really need to do. I skipped alot of those steps. But as long as the end result came out great. It doesnt matter.

good job.

quick question, for the rears, you have to either remove the sway bar endlinks or compress the spring correct?

For the rears, no need to remove the end links. Simply remove 2 10mm bolts from the u bar bracket that holds the bar onto the frame. Then remove the big bolt from the lower arm. You should now be able to pull the shock/spring downwards so that the shock tower comes out first. If yours is a coilover setup, you should be able put it on without having to slightly pry down the lower arm as oppose to using a shock spring combo. Well if you're strong enough you wouldn't need a pry bar at all.

No you will not die, i didn't even use the compressor to take out the strut/spring. The compressor wasted hours and it wasn't even needed! If your changing springs yes will you die if you dont have them .

Spring compressor only used for
-Swapping out springs
-Removing the top hat

I take out the strut/springs probably less than 20 minutes on each side, its pretty simple after the first time around.

I followed this
