jz motors are great man, my last SC had 227k on it and the car ran mint, just keep up on regular maitnence and it's good.. a 200k car i would just make sure it has had the timing belt, waterpump done recently and maybe lower control arms/w bushings..

the stock 2jzge motors are very inexpensive to find normally, as people are always swapping them and 2jzge's came in so many differnt cars, i would expect to pay $200 to 500 for a stock 2jzge long block..

if you want to swap motors, great places like Jhot sell full 1jz swaps for about 1k , normally JDM motors tend to supposedly have lower miles, the last 1jz i bought was excellent..

at 200k i wouldn't worry about the motor though, i've seen sc's with 300k on them that ran awesome still.

just look around some more and be patient. i ended up driving 6 hours away to get my 5speed, it was definitely worth it. an auto to manual swap is possible but probably not worth it.

I drove 6 hrs away to get my first SC (auto)

now with my new SC, i wanted a black interior 5spd so i had one shipped from 3,000 miles away! guess i wanted it lol

i'll tell you what though automatic 1jzgte swaps are dirt cheap and mine was a blast, I really really miss my boosted auto.

look in craigslists around your area, not just in your area. to get the perfect buy ur gonna need time, transportation, and good luck wishes from us lol.

if it helps, i went out to western mass to buy mine, im in boston. definitely worth it for a 5 speed sc.
