I hate to say it but Ebay is the closest thing out there to a "perfect" market where buyers and sellers can determine an item's price depending upon supply and demand. I bought my SC400 in Feb of this year and thought I got a good price.

The problem is the price of gas.

The value of my car (even with less than 50K miles) has fallen considerably in the last 6 months.

I would be very hesitant at paying anything close to what the seller is "asking" for this car. Sorry, but the market will (currently) not support the asking prices of these cars.

If I were in the market for another SC I would lowball this guy and see ...

Not a great deal, but not a bad deal either...always expect to pay a little more from a Dealership, but West Covina is a really cool dealership, lot of cool people there.

That sucks when I was searching I had gone to a few dealers in the West Covina area and most of the dealer had just wasted my time. It seems like you're willing to pay the price for a clean SC hold out until you find one that you're comfortable with. Good luck with the search.
