Quote: This is hands down one of my most favorite newbie introduction threads of all time. The fender pull came out very nice. Air suspension is the way to go. Im still trying to piece together my setup. I like the 9 wire. Where did you pick that up?
Hahaha awesome I got the nine wire from my friend's shop...I'm sure he'll ship you some wire. I'll ask him for a price by the foot. I don't know the price, because I bought a package deal.

I got newer headlights sitting at my shop.

The whole bag setup cost $1700, but I got some kind of deal, so I'm not sure how much they actually cost.

The fender pulling isn't very hard, anyone that can lift a hammer can do it. But, you better plan on painting the car.

I wonder how much easier it would be with a heat gun and using a rubber mallet instead of messing up the paint. You can acheive this with the eastwood fender roller too. I will be buying one, and charging 50 bucks to do it for locals here in Tampa, florida. For 250 bucks it would pay itself off. Plus you wont have to worry about paint because it wont get messed up. On the other hand it looks like you know what you're doing. GL on the build man, Lemme know how you like ride quality of the bags!

A rubber mallet wouldn't have the umph you need to do what I did. It wouldn't bend the metal, but a plastic one might. A few of my friends have rollers, I don't like the way they "flare" the fender instead of "pulling" it, but thanks for the offer. If you flare or pull the fender out far enough, the paint will crack and/or chip...Paint can only stretch so much before it cracks.

I'd like to see how it drives on the bags too! I've been waiting far too long already.

I fixed the alternator, after fighting with it for two days! I couldn't get the old one off, so I called a friend over to help me. The reason it didn't come off???...LOCK TIGHT! They freakin used lock tight for the alternator! Either way, it's fixed now. I also relocated the wiring harness, so it wont rub in half again.

This weekend will start the install of whatever components I have for my air setup. Pics to come!
