New to the SC group - another SC - 1JZ-GTE
I just wanted to introduce myself to the SC crowd, since I'm new to the 'coupe group.' I recently purchased a 1995 SC300 from bmsport ( Matt ) and I've been busy doing some mods. I'm not new to modding since I already have a 2004 GS430 with some work done to it. Of course I get most of ideas from CL members and friends! Anyway here's a rundown on my 'new' project:
-Custom Toyota Barcelona red 3R3 paint ( Matt had this done prior to me purchasing the car and I had it matched when I added a bodykit ), black interior
-Auto Couture bodykit
-1JZ-GTE with R154 5speed swap ( still stock, but not for too long )
-front mount intercooler
-Supra TT 3.76 LSD
-GReddy Turbo Timer and Boost controller
-HRE 840R's 20 X 9 and 20 X 11.5, Conti 245/35 and 305/25 ( will change to 245/30 in front when I wear out existing tires )
-Zeal Function XS coilovers
-Rotora 6/4 piston 355mm brakes front and rear
-Daizen swaybars
-new front OEM upper and lower control arms
-custom full 3 inch stainless mandrel bent exhaust w/Magnaflow polished cans and big rolled tips
-Pioneer AVIC Z3, JL Audio 300/4v2, JL Audio 250/1v2, JL Audio XR6.5 coax in rear deck and XR6.5 components in front, ED SQ10 sub, Clifford Matrix 12.5 security
-Carbing front strut tower bar
-Retro TSX HID headlights - Phillips 85122+ bulbs
Future plans include swap to big single turbo and I'm collecting hardware as we speak
I will also be doing a leather swap on the interior, too. Glad to be a part of the SC crowd! A pic top follow...

hey, i see that you came over to the dark side just like ed and i. i use to have a 2000 gs300 with the vertex kit as well. sold it for a loss and now i have a 95 SC300 5 speed as well. it doesnt look or is fast as your car though. im still on the stock 2jzge motor. car looks awesome!!!!
super clean and love the wheels HRE's are the only way to go

wow that is effing clean man! good work and great pick up. the only red [barcelona red] sc i know with an AC kit
