Default Ewww, leftovers. :(

Just curious, all you guys that did a 1JZ/2JZ swap, or went NA-T, or just did a lot of work on your engine, what kinds of leftover pieces did you have. I'm not talking about extra things you didn't use, I'm talking about things that were on the car before, and should be in the car now, but aren't. I have a couple ziplock bags of nuts and bolts from god knows where. Runs just fine though. For now.

What sucks is when you get done putting your upper intake manifold/y-plenum/throttle body back on, and you're cursing the car and you're just happy to have it done, then you notice three steel gaskets sitting on the cowl of the car still.

Everything is taken and placed in order of assembly with associated parts. Any bolts, nuts or screws that can be screwed back into their locations after a part is removed is done so as it is impossible to forget to put it back on or remember where it came from. In addition, I always take high resolution photos of any complicated task before and during disassembly.
