another w58 92 sc!
yeah, just posted to the newbie thread. this will eventually turn out to be my main build post. every uipdate will go here. if you would like to keep up with it or post some ideas of your own, pease feel free!! the more help, the merrier.
well, i will be posting pics in a couple days when my camera comes in
its 5 speed which im rly happy about. it pulls great after 192k mi. ebrake may need to be either adjusted or i should get a new cable or pads. (i will try to adjust the bolt under the ebrake, and ill try backing up and pulling the ebrake, i did some searching) and it needs a new door (has a dent in it) and it needs some over fenders in the rear. (another dent...)
so yeah again, im happy to be here.

nah, i promise i will post pics when the new camera comes in. no lies.
but heres some new developments:
i figure i should tell u that the cars been sitting for a while so you can hopefully give me better suited advice.
- theres something wrong with the front end on the car. when the car was being towed, the front right brake locked up apparently and almost caught fire (what the tow guy said.) so i drove it around the block and saw no problems. brakes really good though, almost too good?
- then, im noticing that when i want to turn the wheel at a standstill or below 3mph, its really hard to turn it, but its smooth at 5mph or more. im thinking its a ball joint.
- also, when i go over some bumps, the car makes knocking sounds, and sounds squeaky. the springs looks rusty and i dont know what shape the shocks are
these problems exist, plus the drivers side door, and the quarter panel (tht im not worried about now.)
the list
eibach springs: 300
kyb front shocks: 75
goodridge brake lines: 115
ball joint: ?? (need help locating it if i need it)
ebc brake pads: 55
what do you guys think?

then i want to find some overfenders. if not im gonna have to cut that section of the quarter off and weld a new one on.
