Question strange stall when starting

occasionally my '92 sc300 will stall when starting. RPM's peak at their normal starting levels...then it feels like the car shudders and lurches as the RPMs fall to 0 and the car stalls. Happens mostly when cold, but has happened after the car has been warmed up too.

took it in, had the EGR cleaned out MAF checked etc. The car idles perfectly...no bucking when driving etc...

Car was in the shop for 4 days last week hooked up to diagnostic equipment - but they couldn't get it to stall while on the diag.

Any ideas? I dont want to keep the car in the shop until it craps out again - a mechanics worst nightmare hahaa.

Mine shudders when its cold , once the engine warms up it runs fine. Im thinking it might be a problem with one of the vacuum hoses having a crack in it.

I did also and had some a problem with bucking while driving but didnt happen to often. Just usually just shudders and dies when it was cold. Ive done everything you have, But just did the fuel pump ecu bypass and so far it hasnt died once this week while warming up.
