Did you only need 1 can of each? and what type of krylon was it? just normal metallic paints or was it a special type?

I used duplicolor "high performance" wheel coating. It's about 6 bucks a can but I only needed one for all four wheels. We sprayed my friend's wheels and people ask him if they come stock gunmetal. Lots of prepwork + hot sunny windless day = perfection.

Best silver wheel for the diyer is Wurth Silver Wheel Paint and Wurth Clear Coat paint. Great stuff and sprays VERY nice. Auto detailers on the net sell the product. I believe AutoGeek is where I got mine. Just use bondo in a tube to fill in deep scrathes. File/Sand/Grind down curbing by hand or with a dremel. There is a good diy on the internet using Wurth brand spay paint to redo a mag wheeel.(I think a BMW wheel) Have fun.

I was also going to do this when I first got the sc. I found some used ones in good condition for $20 each including tires. problem solved.

Default paint

holds up really good when I painted them even when I power washed my hatchy but I ended up selling it after I got sent to the state ref. I used a heat gun to speed up the drying process bu didint apply heat to close or long periods of time. When applying clear coat wait at least 20 mins after each one because sometimes bubbles occur if its to thick or not sprayed right saw that on my homies teggy lol not pretty
