ok so u know the little compartment, underneath the stero. the one that has the ciggartte lighter in there. yesterday i was trying to open and it wouldn't open. so i had to force it open.

so i got it open, it'll close but when i try to open it. the left side looks like it wants to swing open but the right side won't. anyone else have this problem before?

how hard is it to take apart?

Check to see you don't have a coin stuck in there.
That's what happened with mine.

don't see a coin, but thsi morn when i went to open it it worked fine, then it it started getting stuck again. i saw like a plastic piece in it before work, but couldn't get it out.

went to look at it tonight, don't see it at all but still getting stuck... is it hard to take out? or should just keep trying to look around?

probably broke. its common that the gear part of the hinge breaks in half

Is this an easily purchased part from the dealer, or, are we stuck with living with a broken cig lighter door ?
