My A/C just went out on my sc400, It has been making a rattling soud whenever it was on and I assumes the a/c comp clutch was on its way out. the climate control is not working no backlighting and all.
I've searched and check everything that came up from the search
1.checked if there is any debri in the cig lighter= no debri
2.Checked the cig lighter fuse= still good
However I did find the one of the fuse (10 amp) i believe it goes to the heater that popped, so i replaced it and then it worked but as soon as i turn the car on it pops it again. my question is could the bad compressor clutch be causing the fuse to pop? I tried twice on with the car on and the car off, it will work but once the motor is turned over it pops the same fuse..
any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance.
alright I just tryed a few things and I'm leaning towards the comp clutch. I replaced the fuse again put the car in ACC turned of the ac then cranked her over and the blower and everything works fine, but once i pressed the ac the fuse pops.
