Seibon CF oem hood???

Well lets see, I'll see if I can explain it.

Ok if you have the hood open, looking down at the car up towards the windshield where the hinges are, you will see a little "duck head" shaped metal piece attached to the car that actually fit into a slot in the hood as it closes.

My Seibon hood did not have holes big enough or in the right place to allow those duck heads to go in. So out came the dremel tool to make them fit. I was a bit confused in that those duck heads have two bolts that seem to hold it down however its welded to the car too so I don't quite get that. I wanted to just remove them, but oh well. Dremel took care of that.

I'm still on the look out for a softer set of hood struts as the stock ones are way too strong for it and you can't use them w/ this hood. They do bolt right up but they are still way too stiff to work with such a light hood. I haven't yet figured out what will work so I just prop it up myself for now.
