I'm new here so so please bear with me if I make some posting mistakes. A month ago I bought a 99 SC300 (black on black). This is my second Lexus in my garage and I am loving it's classy looks and the smooth ride. The only thing that I don't like about this car is the Lexus factory chrome rims. My wife and friends said that it does not look bad but I am just not the chrome kind of guy. Maybe someday I will swap it with some other Lexus rims. I'm already learning a lot in the site and thank you all for your input.

This is my second black car and agree with you that black is so hard to keep clean especially when the sun is bright. Looks good at night though..

 

That's a great year, and a great car. They are a lot cheaper that they were years ago and some of the old school guys here still think of them as "new" even though they are nearly a decade old.

Only problem with them being cheaper is that they made SO FEW of the later models even if you can get them under $15k, you can hardly find them.
