Not worth taking it off. The second that law lifts (which it never will) that sucker is OFF!

I tried that and I've gotten a warning and a 15 dollar ticket. Both while parked though.

Yep, doesn't work. Wish it did because that flat square really throws off the bullet shape

But before you do so, think about what would happen if it's nicely painted, and it flips backwards on you at 100mph??

who cares!...i say go for it if thats your thing...truthfully it doesnt look that bad...

if anything, this will seperate the cheap type SC's that take the easy route and the ones that dont sacrifice class...you guys know who you are...it's the same people that buy Jensen as opposed to Alpine...

I don't believe it's necessarily true that people who choose to be a bit more creative than you are sit at a lower class. You must be a very ignorant person to even think that way. Besides, what's so special in Alpine as opposed to Jensen? It's the same type of product, but with a different brand name instead; that's it! Also, do you really think that highly of Alpine products? If that's the case, I consider you as middle-class, beacause there's a heck of a lot more car audio systems out there far better than Alpine, and more expensive if that's the way you determine what's lower or higher class.

agreed... he was looking at it the wrong way of looking at it. They took the initiative with thier car and did something themselves. A+ for effort, though its not in my taste. After all if everyone had that type of persepective of trying to make a cheaper version of it .then no one would customize their car or create after market parts....

I think ur missing my point...if u read the first part of my reply i stated that "it actually doesnt look that bad, if thats your thing" and props to those that got creative......what i was simply stating is that those that decide to go the easy "cheap" way will seperate themselves from those that dont cut corners. It's like buying a 1 piece rim as opposed to a 2/3 piece rim...asthetically it could look the same, but quality wise there is a difference, and YOU'RE ignorant if you dont understand that...if you actually read the posts, people that have the HD lip seem to state how cheap it cost them (and theres nothing wrong with that)...but that to ME is cutting corners...and as far as Alpine vs Jensen, I understand theres better brands, I was simply making a quick comparison...and what I meant by class has nothing to do with economics...hopefully u get my drift...

So what's your point there? Who cares? Why do I care about people cutting corners vs. people who don't? Why did you even decide on saying that for? Don't get me wrong here; I'm not mad at you for what you posted earlier, but I just don't understand what's your point here if you're trying to prove you're innocent? It's almost like saying for example, babies who use crayons will separate themselves from those who don't, Lol.. You see where I'm coming from, ?

And back to your previous statement..,

Unless I'm reading something wrong here, but doesn't this statement alone correlate to your classification of lower and upper class?

Well I did the HD lip because its just a nice little touch to the front bumper. Most of the other lips for the 97+ fronts are too drastic for use with the stock 92-96 sides (ie. Big Win, Vertex, etc.) without having to invest more money in sideskirts. I just wanted a nice little touch and didn't feel I had to pay out the *** for it to look good.
Just my $0.02
