Default Suspension question

Im thinking about about replacing most of my front suspension even though I'm not having any real issues................well I dont think I am anyways. There is 170k on the care and I would just feel more comfortable with a tighter ride, so my question is what is the cost of replacing front suspension? I was reading about replacing the bushing but do you think it would be better to just spend the extra and replace everything?

check your ball joints on the front. if they are fine then just replace the factory bushings for some poly ones. if the ball joints are shot then replace the whole control arm and call it a day.

if anything i would do the rear bushings too. they take a lot of abuse too.

i was searching on ebay and a guy that deals Prothane poly bushing kits told me he would do the front kit, rear kit, and sway bar bushing kits all for like 230 shipped.

right now im debating wheels or coilovers, and bushings are on the back burner since mine are fine. i forgot the guys name but i think it was soemthing along the lines of "pacific toys" or something like that. if you do a search in ebay for sc bushings and click a store link you can find him by that name.

at 170K though i would do all the bushings regardless.

Are going to do the labor yourself ? You can get upper front arms for 135 each from rockauto and lower arms for supra for 400 a pair. Labor whise is cheaper to replace whole parts than do bushing replacement.

If there is a DIY I will have no issues doing it, but in searching the forum I have not found one as of yet. At Advance Auto I found the control arms for $140 each for the front.
