warning about "japan specialties"
just a heads up, "japan specialties" (aka jdm specialties) on ebay recently posted a "complete" 1jz swap, when prompted they confessed that it was actually missing several expensive components (ignitor, intercooler and hoses) they offered the swap without any sort of warranty and when i asked if they could do a compression test or warranty the motor only i just never got a response. When i told him i would rather not do business with someone who ignores me when i ask a tough question the guy sent me a scathing email telling me he didnt know enough about toyota motors to offer a warranty or really tell me the condition of the engine, further proving he is probably selling junk. Not to mention the problem with him not being able to distinguish between junk and quality engines. J-hot and Jarco get praises for all the right reasons. If you would like i can pass along the email string between this guy and myself before you consider any business with them, i just hate junk-dealers. I hate seeing these guys peddle off crap for three months, dissappear and re-surface under a different name with a different relative listed as owner. this is just my experience, I wanted to warn all of you.
