sc300 any pointers or tips on adjusting? thanks in advance

it is easier if you take off the lower dash piece...its plastic and not the big one.

move the driver seat all the way back and lay on the cars floor on your side or back. then look at the clutch pedal. it will have two nuts on the clutch master cylinder push rod. loosen one of the nuts and then turn the rod.

word of caution: DO NOT OVERDO IT!!!!

get under the car and check to see how much play you have in the clutch fork. the throw out bearing should be very close to the the pressure plate and shouldnt have much movement. if you over tighten the rod you will have a throwout bearing that will ride the pressure plate. this will cause early throwout bearing failure, worn pressure plate, clutch wearing out fast and in extreme cases not engaging all the way, and finally if it really bad it can cause constant stress on the thrust bearing in the engine, engine damage, and possible crank walk. you dont want to be like a DSM

which way should I turn the rod (clockwise or counter clockwise)
If I want to bring the point of engagement higher off the floor?
