Default torn engine mounts :(

did my oil pan gasket today after work and found my enine mounts to be torn. im assumin they have been torn in half sense ive had the car. what are the sidea affects. car drives perfect. what did you guys notice after you changed yours?

Side affect is more driveline shock, vibration, etc. Replacing your mounts will bring new life to your car. It'll make your car smoooooth.

every time i shift form reverse to drive i hear a knock , just once .. and after that you fwont hear it.. thats my engine mount doign it.. i dont care much.. when i swap the gte in ill replace it with the supra ones even though there the same thing as the lexus ones..

Default I agree--new mounts made a huge difference

I just did a Engine rebuild on my '92 SC300 and had torn mounts. Put in '97 Supra TT mounts and the car was transformed. Just leave out the black steel plates from the original set-up

same here...put in the TT ones when I swapped the 1J and its night and day!
