Might be getting my coupe need input ???
Looks like i am FINALLY !!!! getting my very own coupe but i'm not sure if i am getting a good deal ? I mean i think i am but i want to know what you guys think. This guy has a 1992 DWP SC300 with 89k original miles he is the second owner and the car has always been serviced at the dealer which it was bought from which I work for so i know the car is good mechanically BUT its sitting on some fugly 20" Lexani plates that are all bent and dont hold air so it need new wheels and tires. It looks like it needs a new A/c compressor the leather is not that great but alright (some rips) needs new battery has an old system that works pretty good the paint is nearly perfect clean title never wrecked for $4000 what do you guys think i should pay ??????? The owner says he dosent really need to sell it so hes not really willing to go much lower....... Also forgot i drove it today and the speedo dosent work my boi that is the tech for that car told me that it wasent like that before so it might not be broken but still it wasent working so any input from you guys would be highly appreciated thanks....

even though the mileage isnt high it needs as much work as a car with higher miles but it may be worth $4000 if the body is nearly perfect. the best thing you can do is take a look at some other local sc's and compare the price and condition.

Seriously doubting that right now, considering the condition of the rest of the car. Probably not perfect but, who knows, could be a flawless new paint job and body...hehe.
Yeah, look on craigslist and see what kind of SC's are on there.

the body is almost perfect litteraly only one dent on the passenger side (like a dime in size) and some chipping around the fender area thats it.. its original paint and the car was never crashed for 4k in Miami and being legit with the miles and history i think its fair i might try to talk him down to like 3500 but i wont hold my breath

Since its a 92', you got to expect the car not to be in great condition. Worn leather is a given on 16 years old. Batteries aren't a big deal at all; $50-100. The a/c compressor will be expensive if you buy an OEM one. Get an aftermarket one for $400. The wheels/tires are probably the biggest thing. I'd ask the seller what he did with the original tires/rims. Unless he's an idiot and threw them out, they're got to be sitting in someone's garage somewhere.
