I'm Tryin To Buy Some Supra Seats For My 92 Sc400. Will I Have To Modify The Brackets Or Will They Bolt Right In.

And Will The Power Seat Motor Plug Right In Too?

Power seats from a 95 TT Supra did not just go right into my 92 SC. They bolted right up yes, but the motor harnesses were not at all the same. I don't know if its because mine came w/ heated seats or not, but it was very easily fixed.

It's really easy to tell which two wires coming off of the seat harness are power and ground. Coincidentally, the two wires needed from the SC harness are the same color/stripe combination. Just a matter of cutting them off the harness and splicing them together and they worked.

From my searching that I've done, some people claim the harnesses plug up and some don't. I'm not sure if its the year that makes a difference or the options the seat has or not. I just know mine didn't just snap right in.
