Joe,

Based off what you've posted you seem to have an SC in pretty good shape. That's always a penny saver. So with that being said, I'd first ask you what your over all hp/tq goals are. Exterior wise, I'd recommend either the AC kit, JIC-Magic, or T&E Vertex. The Vertex Kit also offers the option 50mm blistered fenders. Do you plan to keep the SC black? If so, the ever popular black - on - black option is available. Polished Wheels could offset quite nicely as well. Supra TT wheels have always been a personal favorite of mine.

I'd first try and answer these qualifying questions. As everyone's situation is different taste wise and financial. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, as I've worked in the automotive aftermarket for over 4 years ...oh, and just so happen to be an SC maniac

I'd like the motor to rev quicker, it has more than enough torque down low for daily driving. I like the smoothness of JZ motor, I was thinking the 1jz would be a good start to refresh the motor, because right now i have a cam seal leak and a valve cover leak, nothing major, but i'm afraid to seafoam the motor because after 200k it's probably held together by carbon.

Yeah, the AC kit is sex, the front looks a little SRT though but still pretty slick. The vertex kit is something i'd go with if i was going to go for a stiff suspension, and build it for tracking, but i just want a comfortable, good looking daily that handles well and can go quick when i want it to. I don't street race.

I was thinking of keeping the interior tan, or maybe dying some leather and making it tan and black. All options are open in that department because I haven't given it a lot of thought. I need to tint my windows though. I love white SC's but black, when the paint is conditioned, polished, and waxed, is just too good looking.

Polished Wheels could offset quite nicely as well. Supra TT wheels have always been a personal favorite of mine.
I like the look of staggered fronts and backs, having the rears look a bit more deep dish. I do like the VIP style rims more than say a 5 spoke powder-coated black rim that might suit a non-luxury car. If i keep the car black i think chrome or gold-colored wheels might be good if i rebadge everything in gold.

I was thinking about the Tein CS or the Megan LP (half the cost of the CS) for starting off with coilovers.

Is the 1jz a no brainer? I could always take the 2jz out, have this local company in tacoma wa, Waterhouse motors, line hone, surface the deck, bore it, then maybe stroke it to 3.2L and slap the 1JZ head on it just for ****s, but that's totally just entertaining the idea.

In a nutshell, i want more power than the 2JZGE, i think a turbocharged quicker-revving 1jz will suit that lust. I want the ride to remain comfortable, which is why i'm looking at luxury-style coilovers, something adjustable, but will make the car not handle like a boat like it does now with all the body roll.

I want the interior really clean, and I want to update the exterior, window tint, 97+ or AC.

I'm just not sure where to start. I don't plan on making this a track car but it'd be nice to have a suspension that i can stiffen for a track day then soften for city driving, if that exists. As far as softness of the suspension, as soft as stock or softer would be preferable.

I work at circuit city so my discount on the sound system, double-din screen and python alarm system is pretty much going to be taken care of.

K, Awesome we're narrowing things down here a bit. Hopefully, myself and the members here can assist with everything else....

I'd definitely recommend a 1JZ set up or even NA-T. You also have the option of the 2JZGTE swap, but overall, you'd be spending more money. Each have their advantages for sure, as far as this is concerned I'd say do a search, as there are countless threads debating all three. Bear in mind as well, which transmission you wish to use, as our stock W58 isn't quite known for it's strength. 1JZGTE's utilize the R154 transmission, also used in MK3 Supra Turbos, JDM Soarer 2.5GT Twin Turbos etc. It's much stouter and not too hard to find either if its from an MK3 Supra. Soarer, is another story.

Suspension wise, If you wish to preserve comfort I'd say start pricing out some Tein CS's or even JIC FLTAR's (formerly FLTA2). The Tein is going to be the softer of the two, but the JIC, at least in my opinion offers some decent comfort with a nice sport feel. Personally, I cannot speak on the behalf of the Megan Coilovers. So I won't recommend nor disuade you.

Luckily the softness of our suspension can be remedied with enough invested. Coilovers will be a big difference, then your sway and strut tower bar(s). Take a look at what Daizen has to offer as well. Great stuff.

Overall, I'd would definitely pay good attention to your suspension. In the years I've helped people add power to their vehicles, many have always seem to neglect the need for an optimal suspension set up. Your GE should honestly hold up as long as everything else is on the "up and up" reliably so to speak.

Nice car. What style of wheels are you thinking about? You might want to have your cluster (background) lights or the whole cluster lighting done with new lights, like a blue background with red or white needles.

I think both wheels would look good.

I think it's time for me to post up pics of my 95SC. But I think i got shafted because the car needs some bodywork IMHO. Once I get that sorted I'll be going the mod way. I was thinking like a more sportier exterior and refreshed luxury interior. My car came with some 18's that the dealer tried to tell me was factory but I needed another car since my Honda got jacked. The reason I'm posting is because I'm in WA to. Right now I'm in Lakewood hopefully moving soon.

1) fix that cluster!
2) new seats
3)19x10 rims! all around of course (roll and slight pull)
4) drop your car.. id suggest coils..
5) sway bars :], strut bar
6) KIT + Paint

that should be good enough
